Planday - Design System

With the team at Planday I created a comprehensive design system, transforming their layered, inconsistent shift-scheduling platform into a cohesive ecosystem. We established four key principles—prioritizing reuse, staged complexity, maintaining consistency, and embracing flexibility—while implementing new collaborative processes and centralising the project in a new design tooling stack. The system established a foundation for ongoing product evolution that balanced powerful functionality with intuitive interaction.
